[Via Satellite 10-26-2015] IsoTropic Networks has expanded its service offerings through the Hunter Beam on the Eutelsat 115 West B satellite. The Hunter Beam is from Hunter Communications, which has a hosted payload onboard the satellite.
IsoTropic Networks is the first teleport to successfully light up and close the link with this beam. With Hunter Communications, the company plans to use the beam to service aero, maritime and business markets.
Eutelsat 115 West B is the first all-electric spacecraft for Eutelsat Communications, providing coverage from Alaska and Canada down to South America, including the Galapagos and Easter Island. The satellite began commercial service earlier this month.
