Signalhorn Signs Contracts in the South Pacific, Africa and the Middle East – Satellite Today

[Via Satellite 06-11-2015] Signalhorn has signed agreements with new and existing customers for satellite services in the South Pacific, the Republic of Congo, and the Middle East.

In the South Pacific, one of the company’s main maritime telecommunications customers has signed an upgrade for its maritime Virtual Network Operator (VNO). Signalhorn is providing managed satellite services, which include the satellite capacity, IP connectivity, Hub, maintenance and support, as well as line cards and rack space via its partner teleport located in the region.

An undisclosed leading telecommunications supplier in the Republic of Congo has signed a multi-year agreement with Signalhorn for managed network communication services. For this project, Signalhorn is providing a fully managed network service that includes space segment, teleport monitoring and control.

In the Middle East, a leading drilling company awarded a contract to Signalhorn to upgrade its satellite and terrestrial network. A long term customer of Signalhorn, the contract continues and extends services from 10 existing land rigs and office communications in the Middle East region to two new rigs and includes an upgrade for the primary terrestrial backhaul link.
