Ariane 5 takes off with three payloads on flight VA253 – Satellite News Digest

Rocket: Ariane 5 ECA; Payload: Galaxy-30, MEV-2, BSAT-4b; Date: 15 August 2020, 2204 UTC; Launch site: Kourou, French Guiana. The rocket successfully placed three spacecraft in geostationary transfer orbit: the B-SAT-4b satellite for the Japanese operator B-SAT, the Galaxy 30 satellite for the global operator Intelsat, and MEV-2 (Mission Extension Vehicle) for Space Logistics LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northrop Grumman.
