[Via Satellite 11-18-2014] Luxembourg-based satellite TV provider M7 Group has purchased additional capacity from SES and extended its capacity contract at Astra 23.5 degrees east. M7 Group reaches more than 2 million Direct-to-Home (DTH) households through Skylink. The new capacity enables the company to offer more HD content in Europe through the DTH platform.

“With the Czech and Slovak market now rapidly moving to HD viewing, it is critical to meet the growing consumer demand for HD content and thereby maintain our market-leading position. This new capacity agreement with SES will enable us to do so,” said Jaromir Glisnik, M7 Group board member.
