[Via Satellite 11-04-2014] Speedy Hire, a tools, equipment, plant hire, and services company in the United Kingdom has selected Avanti Communications’ Hylas 1 Ka-band satellite for high speed broadband solutions. The company, which operates in construction, infrastructure and industrial markets in the U.K. and the Middle East, will add connectivity solutions to its wholesale rental offering, targeting new and existing enterprise customers.
“Broadband connectivity is an exciting value-add proposition to the construction sector in particular, where sites are often remote and beyond the reach of fiber. We are excited about the growth opportunities from this partnership,” said Mark Rogerson, CEO of Speedy Hire.
